2025 AGA Accounting Principles Committee Meeting

The Accounting Principles Committee Meeting will be held at AGA’s Headquarters in Washington, DC August 24 – 27, 2025. 

The Accounting Principles Committee is responsible for reviewing suggestions received by internal and external stakeholders on the adequacy of proposed and implemented policies, procedures, and standards with special reference to their application to the accounting requirements of the gas industry, FASB, SEC, and FERC. The committee promotes understanding and unanimity of opinion within the industry regarding these developments. 

Who Should Attend: This meeting is open to committee members and any employee of an AGA member company. Typically, members attending this meeting include Controllers, Assistant Controllers, Directors of Accounting, Corporate Accounting Managers, Director of Technical Accounting, Advisory and Policy, Financial Accounting and Reporting, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Property Accounting staff. 

AGA’s Accounting Principles Committee Chair and Vice Chair designed the meeting agenda to ensure the content is focused on current issues and matters of greatest interest to accounting and finance professionals at AGA member companies.
