Natural Gas Readiness Forum Meeting
AGA in collaboration with other energy trade associations is presenting the inaugural Natural Gas Readiness Forum Meeting. This event is a product of the Natural Gas Readiness Forum recommended by the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) Gas-Electric Alignment for Reliability (GEAR) Working Group. Presentations explore various topics related to the reliability of the energy system and how the natural gas system prepares for the high natural gas demand periods. Industry representatives and government will share practices that support winter readiness across the entirety of the U.S. natural gas value chain and critical end users. The objective of the event is to foster operational education, situational awareness, and peer-to-peer connections.
Note: This event is closed to media. Registration is open to management level energy industry representatives with operational authority in natural gas distribution, natural gas midstream (gathering, processing, transportation, storage), natural gas production, or the electric sector with responsibilities related to supply, emergency management, and/or system planning/engineering/operations. Registration is also open to State Regulatory Utility Commissioners, Regional Transmission Operators, and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission representatives.
