AGA Comments on EPA Accidental Release Risk Management Program (RMP) Proposed Rule
On October 31, AGA filed comments on EPA’s Proposed Rule to revise chemical Accidental Release Prevention Risk Management Program (RMP) regulations (40 C.F.R. Part 68) of “stationary sources” under Clean Air Act section 112(r). We supported technical comments filed by the Utility Solid Waste Activities Group (USWAG), and we supported EPA’s proposal to retain the exemption of natural gas transmission and distribution transportation operations that are subject to the robust pipeline safety and accident prevention regulations of the Department of Transportation under 49 C.F.R. Parts 192, 193, or 195.
