AGA Seeks Guidance from Chemical Safety Board on Incident Reporting Rule
On Oct. 6, AGA submitted a letter requesting that the Chemical Safety and Hazard (CSB) clarify that natural gas transportation facilities (pipelines, storage, LNG, distribution) subject to the jurisdiction of PHMSA and NTSB are not subject to incident investigation by the CSB under the CSB’s memorandum of understanding with the NTSB, and thus are also not subject to the CSB’s incident reporting rule.
